Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)

The following “CPTED” concept stands for Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design and it can lead to a reduction in the fear of crime and the incidence of crime and to an improvement in the quality of life. Dr. C. Ray Jeffery.

We wrote the third edition of the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design in 2013. As a student of Tim Crowe at the N.C.P.I. I used his concepts at Harvard University where I retired as a Staff Sergeant. Lawrence J. Fennelly.
